Today at the Detroit Auto Show Subaru unveiled the new WRX STI. Last year's model got a bit of a lukewarm reception, as a lot of fans wanted to see something closer to the WRX Concept that was revealed at the 2013 New York Auto Show. It appears that Subaru has listened, and this year's WRX STI debuts with an all-new exterior design.
Government plans announced early this year to reduce air pollution caused by vehicle emissions by reducing the speed limit on a 32-mile stretch of the M1 have been shelved. The proposals involved lowering the speed limit from 70mph to 60mph, from junction 28 of the M1, near Matlock in Derbyshire, to junction 35a, north of Rotherham. The Goodwood Festival of Speed always stands out as a highlight in our automotive calendar and the 2014 event should be no exception. The iconic motoring celebration will take place from 26-29 June and this year Lord March is laying on all the usual treats plus a few surprises. The 2014 Festival of Speed's central feature will be Mercedes celebrating 120 years of motorsport achievements and a century since the famous 1-2-3 victory in the 1914 French Grand Prix.
